Looks really good!! I did the exact same thing about 2 months ago, using '05 TSX projectors (which it looks like you used too...good choice). The only differences seems to be that I used a true D2S Hella / Philips kit for the bulbs and ballasts. I painted mine gloss black to match my grille and roof. I also made a huge a$$ wiring harness with dual relays and 3 fuses to make sure that the initial 23,000 volts needed to ignite the bulbs doesn't fry the electrical system, and included a provision to keep the low beams on (HIDs) when I switch the highs on. For the shrouds to cover the mounting screws I used aluminum flashing, lots of epoxy, and lots of bondo.
Here's some crappy pics of mine I'll get some better ones eventually if it ever stops raining out here in California:

notice the little kick on the right that the projector has to light up road-signs.

Looks nice. I used the same ones, but modified them to use a 9006 bulb since the kit is fairly straight foward and doesnt need splicing. What kelvin bulbs are those? 4600?

They're 4300k phillips D2S(same as OEM hid in bimmers, audi...etc)
the pic doesn't show it well, but the color at the cutoff is a nice blue/purple.

Did you do the color mod to them? I was thinking about doing it to these before I completely seal them up.

I've seen a ton of pictures of people with LS1 Birds switching over to projectors, only 2 doing it to an LT1. one guy made sleepy eyes, but he used smaller projectors and so on, he has a write up on camaroz28.com, but it is not to detailed. The other LT1 i saw was on here and he used a bi-xenon with the ballast right on the back of the projector which is why he had to cut a lot of the crap behind the original housing area. THe E46 projector is around 5inches long from the crown on the lens to the very back, so I dont think im gonna have a huge problem. I have a design down for the housing I want to make and I'm gonna have my friend who works at a metal fab shop make one for me with a bezel, I'll cut a piece of polycarbonate to fit in there and see if everything will work!

Do the color mod, it's cool. I put a little bend in my projector and was rewarded with a yellow/orange/red shift in the "z" part of the bend, and then blue/purple on the cutoff lip itself.... looks TIGHT

Can you post a link to the camaroz28.com one? I don't go there so I haven't seen it. Also, the other car had the ignitor on the back, not the ballast. I would definetly recommend you get the Hella made "Audi" ballasts with their ignitor built into the ballast and their small plug with the 80* angle on the end. It fit's in real tight places.

Ls1 SS have you tested your projectors with your 9006 bulbs yet to see the patern? i only ask because the cutoff might not look right because i believe that the focal length of the 9006 bulb is different from a d2s. what i mean is the actual portion of the bulb that emits the light must be positioned at a percise point in the reflector bowl to get the correct light outpout. just something to think about before you seal up those beautiful looking lights.

Yeah I just tested them in the house with them, they're OK but I think I can get better with the D2S bulbs. I have everything here but those so now I have to wait again until I get a pair in.

I figured I'd try them anyway with the 9006's.. They're OK but have room for improvement. Just ordered some more parts...

Hehe, compare them mine (without projectors), and it's a world of difference.

Would you by chance have a close-up pic of the cut off point? I just want to see how much color is there.

How much do you want for the E46 projectors? I'm asking for a friend of mine.
