Camaro Projectors #2
Ok well did a lot of research before I started the second set, and it has more than paid off.
These are about 75% done. I just finished getting them aimed correctly and they are beautiful. I may end up keeping the first set
Now I have to secure and silicone them, make a bezel to go around the projector, then put them back together. These are going to be usking 6000K HID's and I've even fabbed the projectors to fit 9006 HID's since I already have 2 kits here.
Here are some rough pictures, Im going to try and finish them off tomorrow and get some pics tomorrow night. Give me some feedback, good/bad whatever!

In all honesty they turned out a lot lot lot better than I expected. Very happy with them!

Once you get this sorted out you will become a Camaro Headlight Hero. You know that don't you? I'll swap them Halo's out in a hurry for another cool looking head light option.

As long as you have the 9006 HID kit then yes that is possible since I can make these to fit 9006's fairly easily. BUT they must use HID's, these projectors won't work with regular halogen bulbs.

As for the price, i'm more than willing to pay for a quality product.

looking better than the previous set, the E46 projectors are pretty damn nice and would fit in there a lot better. I wish I had the room to work with like the Camaro's have! I'm having a hell of time trying to figure out a way to make the projector fit in the space provided while keeping it fully sealed. Sounds easy but way harder than I imagined.....whoever engineered the lighting for LT1s can kiss my @$$. Keep us updated! If I were to someday get a SS or Z28 I'll want a pair of these!

Looking pretty good, man. What projector is that? I'm thinking of doing another set eventually and might go with somethign different than the Hella 90mm ones I used.
DirtyBird- look for a guy named Jon Broomfield. I forget what his screen name is, but he did a set on a 01 Firehawk maybe a year ago. I know they're different than the LT1 headlights, but it might help you out....

The LT1 Firebird lights are a whole different story than the LS1 ones.
There's been a lot of people put projectors into the LS1's. I know of several as it's not too hard. The LT1 though is really shallow and combines the high and low beams together. I know of only one guy to mount them and he had to cut into the metal behind the lights. E-mail me if you want pics.
