Black chrome

Does anyone have any pieces they've had "black chromed"? Does black chrome look any different than super glossy black paint? I'm thinking of having some stuff black chromed but no shop in town will do it, so I'd have to send 'em away. I'd like to have a better idea of what it looks like before going through all that.

i dont have pics, but a guy here has c5 y2ks that are black chrome, they look good, just darker then chrome but still shiny

Cool, what colour car were they on? I've got an NBM Firehawk and I'm worried black chrome might look too dark.

its like a darker type of chrome... like smoked silver

i am actually a distributor of black chromed exhaust products...and i will tell you this
while black chrome gives a SWEET *** unique look, it is only slightly darker than chrome....what i mean by this is unless it is in direct sunlight..and you know its black chrome, you may mistake it for chrome....but i mean it is GREAT looking anyway..imahine if you will a smoked chrome...check out this tip i sell..black chromed z28 tips...
