Here are more pics, sry it's getting dark here. I'll pull the car out in a min and take some more.

the car has to be clean and preferably claybared. If you put wax and crappy paint, it's gonna look crappy.

BTW this product is not a WAX!! It says on the bottle that it's a polish... so it wouldn't hurt to use a paste wax like i did then use this polish.
I don't think you understand. You are supposed to put polish on before you put on wax. Idealy you should go: 1. Scratch/swirl remover. 2. Polish 3. wax.

The was acts as a selant. You should be applying polish before the wax.

A wax is not intended to make a car shiny, rather protect it. A wax is to protect the paint from water spots and oxidation and such. A polish is what shines the car up, then you "seal" in that shine with a wax. Look st the Meguier's 3 step program...it basically explains it right there. Scratch, polish, wax. I have seen the best results just using their 3 step process. You can as many coats of each on as you want, so yes the more polish you apply the shiner it will become, but that's what you should be applying the most, the polish. I see too many people cake on wax weekend after weekend. Try it the other way, put 3,4,5 hell, 6 coats of polish on then put the wax...i promise you'll say, wow...i wish i was doing that before.

i doubt it's a true polish because it's so oilly. Wax would never stick to it.

If it's still oily after you're "done" then it's not all the way off. There should be no residue left after you're done. You should always be able to put wax on top of polish. If it does not "stick" it's not done properly

Okay, so how's this thing to be used then? As a polish/abrasive? Or as a wax/sealant?

So, should you still wax afterward for protection?

That's what I want to know also...

And if it doesn't cover swirl marks/scratches, what is a good product that will? And if you are supposed to use a wax over this...

What order would you do all of this in?

In my opinion, mainly because of it's oiliness, it is most definetly meant to be used as a wax, or the top layer on the car. The order is swirl remover > polish > glaze/seal > wax. Yes, I know the product is called Ice Synthetic Polish, but if you read the text on the back it refers to itself as a wax also. The polish smooths out the paint, the wax and glaze protects and gives it shine.

I'm guessing it's not a wax then.

Scratch remover/swirl mark first
polish second
wax third
