Default removing T/A park/turn signal housings

What all is involved in relpacing the front park/turn signal housings? Is it easier going at it from the top or bottom? Mine are cracked and I'm about to order a new pair to replace them.

I did this last summer...I removed the plastic piece that goes on the headlight to fit my hand in there. I actually went in from both the top and the bottom. I have small hands and it was a real pain. It was real uncomfortable. You have to screw/unscrew bolts that you can't see, you gotta do it by feel

Good luck.

My hands aren't too small, so this may be interesting.

Yeah unless you remove the headlights completely but I didn't want to mess with putting them back on right...

I think I'm going to try the bottom approach first. I'll probably end up getting pissed and throwing something..that's usually how things go

I took mine out and cleaned them recently. I spent about 30 minutes laying in my driveway cursing. The bolts that hold them in are really small and really tight. When I put them back in, I could not get the screws for the driver's side tight enough. Now it wobbles around. I'm going to be ordering new ones soon and am not looking forward to taking them out again.
