I just ordered 2 cans of Niteshades from Summit. Should this be enough to do both taillights, SS spoiler LED,the red lights on the rear quarter panels, and the corners up front (NOT the headlights, just the corners).
How many coats to be a deep black on the taillights? I have a Berger panel and want it to match up.

It will be close and also depends on how dark you want to go. Donbt rush because u will end up with a grayish white spots all over liek i did at first. I ended up sanding all my lights down and had them profesionally painted after buying 3 cans of VHT

I think 2 will be plenty. I used one full can on my tails + chsml and they are pretty much black. Way too dark.
I actually needed the 2nd one because I got cracks in my chsml and had to redo it. But what you see is what you can get from 1 full can on Camaros.
Don't forget to buy some clearcoat.

Thanks for the link.
Do I need to sand down my taillights at all or just clean and spray? How many coats do you think I should use on the rears to get a dark, almost solid black? I'm not to worried about getting the corners or quarter panel lights black, as long as they aren't red and orange anymore.
Also, will any kind of spray paint clear coat work? How many coats of that should I use?
As always, thanks for the tips!

I used up 3/4 of a can on my 3rd brake light, back up brake lights, and orange and red reflectors on the sides of the car. Put about 5 coats on each light and is nice and dark. I needed to lightly sand my back up lights to avoid runs. I got my clear coat spray at automotivetouchup.com and worked nicely.
