Nah man, that things looks great. I think the problem you're having lies in the color of your car. It looks good from what I can see, and judging by what you said you did, it's definitely well protected.

That's funny, because half the cars on my website don't even have Zaino on them, and most of the pictures are in the sun. Not being defensive...just stating the facts.

Since the release of Z2 Pro, I have not seen a proper Zaino detail turn out "plasticy."

I guess I should have been more clear. I meant like a close up on the paint with the sun right there to look at cob web removal. An example would be the black Trans am with the before pic. That picture is pretty close and you can see the cob webs. Then all the afters were angled pics of the whole car (looked good too). I dont know if you see where I am coming from or not, but anyways. That is the main thing I am always intrested in. To me, almost anyone can make a car shiny, haze free, and smooth. That is the easy part (at least to me). Removing cob webs and swirl is the time consuming part and makes and breaks products and equipment. I was also just looking at the pics where you did a premium detail, not just the wash and wax deal.

I am assuming that you meant to say "haven't"?

Pics look good...

Gotta remember tho too, not saying a lot of the shines you see on certian cars are "fake" but there's a reason they take pics with quality lense' and camera's.

But it looks like your setup is fine. You've got a nice reflection all around, and Im sure your finish is smooth as hell. But pewter is finiky as I said previously...

I gotcha now...I typically use Menzerna, Poorboy's, and/or AIO on vehicles that receive a premium detail. Some of the pictures may not show it well enough, but most of those vehicles are corrected to around 95%.

Yes, I did mean to say "have not" in the last sentence...now edited.

how do you think the Menzerna and poorboys compares to the AIO? I am a huge fan and believer in the AIO (Its what I use on almost every car I do) and am just curious if either one of those products perform better or not. One of the main things I like about the AIO is how it eliminates all haze and lasts months. I have heard good things about Poorboys though.

I am talking about the Menzerna and Poorboy's polishes, not the sealants/waxes.

Its an old pic, but here's mine w/o a clay. The shine is but I just dont see that depth with pewter.
agreed.... i like to clay it, stratch filler, wax, then ice it, and its the best combo ive managed to get out of it.... great looking color tho

I'm not sure if you would wax under the ICE, if you were to do that you would do it on top. Wax goes on as the top coat over your hard work underneath.

I don't think anyone is sure yet, but ICE seems like a topcoat product so I don't think its necessary.

Abrasives and fillers are two different things. One smooths the surface, and the other fills in the scratches to hide them.
