Mr. Clean Autodry Has anyone tried this product? I've read good things about it, especially the PUR water purifier. However, some have said that the Mr. CLean soap left a rough feel/stripped wax - although, the Mr. CLean site said this isnt' so. I have some hard water, so I was at least considering washing with Zaino and doing a final rinse with the purified water.

i have it i never used the soap in it i just wash it normally and rinsed with the purified, it does help with the water spots but when u run the water threw the filter u loose a ton of preuuse and it only lightly mists out i dont really like it but thats me my gf loves it lol

Yeah, one of my friends in San Antonio has a water softener hooked up ($2k or so) and I always do a wash while I'm there. I also did a search and found something made by hayes equipment that hooks up to the hose and purifies the water. I may use the Mr. CLean soap on the daily driver just to see if leaves a rough/stripped feel.

I use it all the time as well.
I'm not a paint expert, so I don't know what, if anything, it's doing to the paint, but it does leave a nice shine when you really clean it with a new Chenille pad. And it dries as advertised too - except in a few places where water lingers, like under the headlight covers and under the wing.

I use it. It works great. The only time my car gets really clean is with Mr. Clean.
