That statement is mostly true except that also us older guys can be more broke than the ones that arent married with a bunch of kids. We have to budget what our families leave us for speed money.

I'll be there soon before I know it. They should give you guys up there like a 50% discount on speed parts like they give discounts almost anywhere for *cough*...the more mature.

Voted a long time ago, but never commented.
I'm 25, and I want to stop aging. As a matter of fact, I never even wanted to turn 21. When I was 19, I had a fake ID and could go anywhere. I knew right then that I didn't want to age another day.
I just know I'm going to wake up one morning and be 30, then before I'll know it, I look in the mirror and be 40. I'll turn around and be 50.
He's dead now, but one thing I'll always remember a veteran of WWII, a Navy piolt, told me. He told me a story about a guy trying to sell him life insurance when he was a young adult. The guy told him he'd be an old man before he knew it. He said something like, "It feels like only yesterday, I turned him down and turned around and now I'm an old man."

37...been driving F-Bods since I was 23...
I always did tinted windows and I did a Trans Am Wing for my Formula, but other than that, I was one to like subtle...
my current ride is about as far as I'm going with appearance mods. I may try a Raptor or SLP hood, but that's about it

Im 21, and yes my first car was bought for me. It was an 01 camaro v6. I got tired of being made fun of from the ls1 guys so I got a job and by the time I was 20 I bought my 01 T/A. Now there are no more v6 tuants being thrown from the cars beside me at redlights. Now its "man whats that got done to it". Needless to say Im very humbled these days.

21 years old here. Got my 67 as a birthday/Christmas present when I was 13. Car was a TOTAL basket case. I started working the following summer and have had a job since then. I completely restored the car over 7 years and am constantly doing stuff to it. Should be putting a 406 in it by the end of the spring. I got the 99 when I was a junior in high school made a good down payment on it when I got it, and I had it paid off when I graduated high school. The past two summers I've held two jobs, averaging 65-70 hours per week, so the funds have increased and I have been able to mod the cars a little more. Below are pictures of my 7 years of hard labor.
