16 here. I have NEVER liked anything gawdy since as far back as I can remember. Sometimes less is more

Although some cars, like that lime green/silver LT1 T/A on here, catch my eye...

Everyone has there own opinion on what looks good to them and what not. What looks good today...may not look good next week. It is your car; you own it, not the person that makes fun of it because he does not like it. Do what you want to do to your car, just make sure you research it before you do. There is nothing as if wasting money on something you think will be badass or great and end up being a total flop.

I'm 20.
My first car was a competition yellow Chevy Lumina Z34
But I thought it was badass, learned a lot from it and it probably saved my life not owning a V8 until now. My tastes are alright I think- I have a berger panel, CME, and an ss spoiler. I'm going to get draglites and 10s before I get a hood-a 3in ss or 3-5in cowl.
I'm also taking off anything that weighs anything that I don't need.

I think as far as taste goes, owning non-Ford American muscle automatically gives you better tatse then 90% of people alive

Question, how does somebody under 20 own more than one nice car and be able to afford it?

I'm 37 years old and i love my Trans Am. There are alot of nice cars on this website, some are very similar and some stand out a little more than the others. If every car looked the same it would be a very boring website. Some people take risks in the appearance trying to be different or unique. Some have succeeded and some have failed. The bottom line is some people let others dicatate their tastes because they are scared to try something themselves. When you start buying my gas and paying for my mods then i might let you tell me what looks good to me.

18, 2 Fbods, Like the stock appearance with a little bit of personalization. Nothing based off import styling, nothing that looks too overdone (huge rims or huge spoilers, etc).

I would like to point out, I love to have my cars spotless. I always keep them that way.

I will say, my taste has changed a bit from when I wanted a car, to when I owned a car. When I wanted a car, I wanted a celica gt-s with action package body kit. I thought they looked soo cool, now i see that car and i cringe, at least it goes decent on that car.

I've been working all my life since i was about 11, I don't spend much and I saved almost all of it, I was planning on getting a sweet car from then. Parents helped me a bit with both cars, because I never get any allowance or anything and I do help out a lot around the house.

I can keep both but I may end up selling the camaro, insurance on 2 kills me.

22 here and relatively new to F-bodies, but both of my previous rides (92 Eagle Talon, 98 Eclipse Spyder turbo) were kept very simple and clean. Mainly because I didn't have the funds to do much but I grew to like the stock-like appearance. I don't have anything against people taking risks and doing something different. That's the way mods came about in the first place anyway.

Maybe we should start a "How much do you weigh" poll too

And maybe how tall you are. Race would be nice too while we're at it. Let's just get the profiling out of the way

Oh, ya insurance is mainly what I was wondering. How much do you pay? My guess is around $600-700 a month...

The point of the poll is to get a little better understanding about where a lot of the appearence opinions are coming from.

It is private, and it was prefaced appropriately, so it's not exactly "profiling" if nobody knows how you voted.

But your comments did get me to thinking, that maybe there should be a "how fat are you thread". I'd like to know how much faster our leather seat bolsters wear out for fat vs. skinny. Something like weight + mileage + good or bad leather.

That way I'd know if I should pick up a spare seat cover or not, while they are still around.

Honestly I am a little surprised at the youthfullness of the poll so far. There are some very nice rides on here and I can't imagine being able to support that while in high school and college. But then again I guess the cars are alot cheaper now...
