price to get hood painted

just wonderign what a good shop would charcge to prep fix and paint a hood.
im looking in to geting the sunoco hood and wanted to get an idea of teh final cost.

My Raptor hood is costing me $250 for the minor trimming it needed at the nose, stripping, and base/clear (black), and mounting. It's a buddy deal though, I don't know what a shop would charge.

They charged me $550.00 to paint the hood, but they had to blend the hood with the fenders and bumper.

I get it painted for free, i have a friend who does body work and paints cars for a hobby. just got to buy the paint and he does it.

Man, Ive paid anywhere from 150 to 450. Just dont go the cheapest route, go the BEST>
