Default How many people hate thier car color?

I was just curious how many people dislike the color of thier car. Like you bought it, then after awhile you wish you would have gotten a different color, or looked more to find the real color you wanted.

I hate the color of my car. Its a show stopping artic white! Its a 98 and I bought it used in 2000 with 15,000 miles on it. At the time I had a 97 Z28 m6 which was that jade green color which is one of my favorites. Before that was a 95 t/a that was the metallic blue, another one of my favorites. The 95 and 97 were easy because I bought them new. I guess I grew up a little and got tired of blowing money on new cars so I figured I'd start to try and get low mileage used cars.

Anyway I hurt the motor in the Z28 and just wanted to trade it in. Of course all I could find was the white 98 I still have. I got a good deal on it and for whatever reason I cant seem to get rid of it or want to. Although I complain about the color all the time. I suppose I'm going to change the color one of these days.

So, how many people dislike the color of their car?

I dont like white, would never own a white car.

Sometimes I regret getting a black car because of the cleaning problems. But , its really worth it whent it IS clean

I had a red Z28 and liked it, but then really got tired of it. I wanted pewter and then ended up buying my buddy's 02 pewter Z.

when it comes to solid objects, white is the absence of color and black is the combination of all colors. . .

when it comes to light, white is the combination of all colors and black is then the absence of color. . .

Got Black and silver cars. . .love both of them. . .

Whats all this "not a color" talk? get some white paint on your nice clothes, and tell me that it isnt a color.

i think red is the last color i would own. but i still like it. the worst colored f-bodies are the CETA's, it looks like they got put together with leftover parts and paint

It's not a color, it's a value. Or something like that, I don't remember back to 7th grade!!

I was unbiased when I bought my car. As long as it wasn't green or purple I did not care. I just so happened upon a pewter car and that's what I ended up with. I really like it now though, it hides dirt so well!!!

My other Z28 was white. I liked it because it was very pure and clean.

Pewter grew on me and I like it now. It's a little common and close to silver, but I think it's a classy color. I like white too, hardly ever see it on these cars. And black, well it's nice when it's clean... I didn't really care about the color when looking for a car, but I'm happy with what I ended up with.

I really had a tough time choosing between pewter and NBM. They had a pewter SS on the showroom and I LOVED the color, but I had my heart set on NBM after I saw one at night. My wife (then girlfriend) and I were driving along and a "black" Camaro passed in front of us. As it passed through my headlights, I realized it was navy blue. It was a very "Wow" moment.

I just ran into my White Z so I didn't have much of a choice. I've owned one white car and one royal blue car before but I was on the fence on white. Turns out its one of the nicest colors, clean and waxed the white has more personality then alot of other colors. My next car will not be white and I really cant stand the pewter color on these cars. Looks like matte grey.

I dont mind the color of mine so much, but I HATE the interior. I got it because I got a really good deal on it, but the white leather makes me cringe when I see it.

I wish I would have saved and waited, and got a black with black interior.

Black - I love it when it's clean.
Hate it whenever it's not.

Hated white cars when I bought mine, but its been growing on me, and I've been inspired by some people on this board with really nice white F-bodys.
