Default Blue LED side markers?

Do you think I would get F'ed with by the cops if I did clear side markers with blue LEDs in them?

No doubt in my mind, that's why many people don't do them.

I might just have to black them out or just run clears with amber/red leds

It really depends on the law in your area. But more then likely the cops won't like them. But in my area, they really don't care.

Yeah, it's not worth it. Just gives them a reason to pull you over.

My buddy has green ones, and has never been harassed about them.

I doubt you will be bothered if it isn't really bright, but it depends a lot on where you live and what the cops are like.

I'd bet money on it....lots of it.

Blue lights of any kind on a vehicle, is just asking for trouble.

And if the cop is a dick (like most) the ticket for the blue lights will be just the start.

LawmanSS, is there any actual laws stating you cant running colored lights other than amber/red? Wouldn't it be the same as the stupid little ricer kids that have the neon crap shining out from under thier cars that you can see from 2 blocks away? LOL

Here in PA, use of certain colors and color combinations are limited to emergency vehicles...blue is reserved for volunteer fire/ems...blue with red is for police use, etc...using blue LEDs would not be legal on several accounts...one, the use of blue, and two, the blue color would not pass vehicle inspection for marker lights. As for the ricers' use of neon, they can only be used when the vehicle is not in operation...use while driving is illegal because of the distraction they create...hope this answers your question.

Yeah, cops don't dig red or blue lights on vehicles. Especially when the red one is moving back and forth. I've got a couple of "oscillating red light" warnings, but no tickets. Cops down with Knight Rider. LOL. But in certain townships, scanner goes off. Those suburb cops will have 3/4 of the ticket wrote before they hit your window for your license and registration.

Dude, I forgot all about the Karrs. How were they legally put those cars on the road?
