Default Cleaning clear after wet sanding question

What should be used to clean the clear dust/slop out of the clear coat after wet sanding & prior to buffing? Am thinking that the chemical cleaner that was used to clean the preped primer can be used to clean out the clear dust, but, want to be sure. Am thinking that maybe the clear may be damaged by using the pre-paint cleaner. Please comment; Thank-you.

I usually just use soap and water. But there is a solvent made specifically for that, but I can't remember what it's called.

I wash with soap and water but after that is dry I also wipe down with a wax/grease remover. That should be done at EVERY step before a new layer is put down.
