just heat up the glue and pull. Use goo gone or 3m adhesive remover to get rid of the excess glue or just rub with your finger

How about a bird?

I just put a blowdryer up next to the moldings and just pushed. The moldings came off pretty easy, it was the remaining glue that was a bitch. When i used my thumb, pieces of the glue came off little by little. Maybe you should the adhesive remover would be easier.

Def. Demold it...I makes the car look alot cleaner. And the molding starts to discolor if you dont take care of it. Id say 20 mins each side if that.

here you go man,

Grab some fishing string and some goo-gone.

just slide your fishing string along the backside of the molding, work slow and peel it off slow so you dont tear your paint. the glue should all come off with it, if it doesnt grab a microfiber towel, spray on some goo-gone and wipe off the extra glue. if you want to take off the letters, aka firebird, trans am, formula, apply the same method, these are alot harder to take off and might get you frusterated. just work slow and careful and everythign will turn out better than you hoped!!

if you dont have goo-gone try alchohol(sp??) it worked great on my window tint.
hope this helps yah, and heres some pics of mine.

It's a v6, and yes. I had the rear w68 ground effect on, but I got rid of it in favor of a T/A bumper. The bumper is not on yet.
