The car MUST be black or have the CETA mod to pull it off, but with one of those two met you barely even notice. Nice tips do set the rear bumper off, but on a black or CETA car you dont notice that they aren't there. I haven't had one single person say anything about my missing tips, only compliments on how the CETA mod looks and how mean the car sounds. Rumbler X for the win!

You can mount tips on the car without the pipes hooked up. That's what I did. I got tired of my tips always turning black so I added some dumps before the tips. I had the stock ones polished inside and out and fabbed some adjustable brackets to hold them. Now they stay clean all the time.

That's what I was thinking too.
Anyone daily drive with the TSP Rumbler ?
Anyone use regular mufflers on a Rumbler system (instead of bullets)

Honestly, I would recommend an electric cutout just before the axle and run a factory or tame muffler like the magnaflow (what I have). Then you don't have to compromise. You can be loud when you want or quiet when you want. I love having that option on my daily driver.

That is an option, BUT I want a nice sounding exhaust tone. With that setup it's either loud and untame or silent.

I've found the open setting isn't really loud enough for me, besides I like that untamed sound so much I leave it open 95% of the time.
