It gets lost in the black a bit I agree, but it's there. Either way I think it will look good.

Looks great. I would leave it as is if you don't want more "blling". Otherwise I'd opt for some stainless emblems.

Looks great! I think it looks fine without the Z28, considering removing mine...

I have 1974 style Z28 emblems though (I know what you mean about the chrome letters disappearinf !)...

If you like the stock emblems I wouldn't worry about the Z28 disappearing in the black... First of all black cars still came with black emblems, second of all at first I stuck my stockers back on there and as long as the bowtie is still next to it you will be good to go.

I had even at first considered putting this there instead (yes, they came on Camaros as well back in the day, this emblem is for a Camaro):

I still may either put that on the left to balance it out or just go emblem less (with the CAMARO inserts still there)...

Do the bling emblems. It'll work great w/ the chrome letters, and the little bit of bling on the Hurst emblem too.

Altho, if you arent doing to add the side emblems it might look a bit out of place.

Cost me 60 bucks all together I paid 45 for the panel and 15 bucks for paint and primer

and as for durability..I dunno..but theres a BUTT oad of paing on there..4 coats of primer and at lease that many of color...push come to shove....pull it off...cover the letters...paint again

I love it. This is making me consider doing mine again.

Oh, and I LOVE those headlights. Sometimes I think all the black inside the full Whistler mod is just too much. Looks great with those headlights though.

I wet sanded after each two coats of primer..and once after the second coat of finish

The satin finish is really forgiving..keeping the can 18in away fro mte work helped put down just a thin layer of color for each coat...the finish is perfect...
