Freshly detailed 69'
Freshly detailed 69' Hey everyone, my dad got this car about a month ago. Its a 69' Firebird with the 400 in it. Not a true Firebird 400 but all the numbers match and what not, pretty much the real thing. Anyway, i gave his car the overhaul today with wash, claybar, all cleaned up, polished windows, 1 coat of zaino, few more to come of course. Came out pretty good. Let me know what you think. Car has the 400 engine, cam (unsure of specs) headers, exhaust, previous owner said it has about 330 rwhp and ran 13.3 on these tires and 13.1 on mickey's. Time to mod my car now huh, lol. Heres some pics!

yea, cars an auto though so it doesnt really mean much anymore. Car was originally a stick but was converted to a Turbo 400 trans

so let me get this straight....your dad won't let you mod your engine because he doesn't know anything about them and is afraid your going to hurt it, yet he buys a cammed bird himself.

haha yea, i brought that up yesterday to him, i asked him why he can sound like a boat and gurgle and i cant. Hes like what do you mean, You have a cam...... translations, not fair i want one too. And he says, "i dont have a cam, its those crappy mufflers!" lol. Well dad, when you start it up, why does it go..... " Blurp, blurp blurp, and have some real nice lope?" he didnt answer, haha. Needless to say, he wont be doing any mods to the car other than fixing up the interior and what not, but it sounds very mean. He wanted the TA but they are just insanely priced right now and he found this and decided to fix it up a little, drive around for a while and sell. Paint feels like glass after another coat last night!
