Depends on your chromies. My 16" Firebird Chromies are really growing on me and I'm debating about widening them or 17" TT2's.

The 17" trans am Chromies just look a little off to me (flatter, not enough personality for a 17" rim).

Since they're chrome, i'd go lowering first... but would probably need a pic of your car to see.

ive been wondering the same thing you are. But now im gonna get the TT2s first, cause im sure it will make a bigger difference then lowering it. Also i need the car to be a little higher off the ground before i lower it, so i can still use a lift without taking my side skirts off.

i think if you have the funds for it, get rims/tires first. it just makes it that much better when you finally do get a lowering kit.

wow this thread was from a while ago but if you noticed from my other thread I did everything at once. No tt2's though or 315's . https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-tires/732106-konis-stano-springs-c6-s-pics.html

Wheels and the 315's. Then lower it a bit.

I got my ZR-1's wheels first, and still waiting to lower it.......I would put wheels on first, because to me and most other people, they are a more noticeable mod.,.,.,.,.,.,

I always thought it was a bad idea to put lowering springs on the stock shocks. Although I know a lot of people do it because its cheaper.

Why would you wann take a risk in scratching or doing something bad to the new rims?!!? If you lower your car first, you're all set. The just mount the new wheels/tires on when you get them and be over and done with it. Just my 2 cents. GOOD LUCK!!!!

How would you scratch a rim putting shocks and springs on? Just wondering and by the way I already got rims and I already lowered.
