Question Lower it or get rims and tires?

Well this summer I am going to mod my TA a little bit. I want to lower my car and I also want to get 17x9 and 17x11 TT2's with 315s on the back. I know I will prolly not have enough money to lower it and buy TT2's and tires this summer. Just one or the other. So I was wondering what you think would look better tt2's on a TA that isn't lowered or a lowered TA with stock chrome rims. By the way i'm lowering it with the pro-kit and some revalved bilstein shocks.

do both! ...well eventually when you have the funds. i say put some rims on that puppy to show it off more. nothing is better than having some nice clean shoes on. the springs aren't nearly as much as wheels and tires are gonna cost you. pro-kit will give you a nice stance though.

I am definitly going to do both eventually. But there will prolly be about 7 or 8 months between the time I do one and then other thats why I was wanting to know which would look the best.

do the torque thrusts. wheels are quite possibly the most important and first mod that should be done to any car

that doesnt make sense... If you get the TT2's it will cot you $1100-$1500 for wheels and tires, but fi you lower it its no more then $600

In that case I vote lower it and spend the extra money on LT's and a lid

or you could get $200 springs and use the stock shocks.

Wheels first. Lowered on stock wheels isn't a good look.

Agreed. The wheels will stand out more on a stockish car than a lowering will.

Wheels first then lower....if your like me and more into performance then looks. Then lower first and get rims later. Im riding stock 16" painted w/lip which are very nice but soon ill replace them.

My car looks good lowered with stocker? I've been waiting for my new rims since I lowered my car. I like being a pic *****.

Lowering a car is the single best thing to make it look more aggressive and mean. Rims add style points for sure, but it's not like the stock rims are hideous.
