Default Billet Bezel A/C Vents

Anyone running these or thought about it? The size seems like it would fit or be very close to fitting. thoughts?

Looks cool. How is it "more economical" though?

finally found the pics I was looking for over at LS2.com..

here's the post:

"once you get the stock vents off, the Billet ones will fit right in like they were meant to go in there, except that there is no locking mechanism, so they won't stay held in. To remedy this, I bought some 3M double-sided adhesive tape, and made one wrap around the sleeve of the vent, right behind where you can see the ridges on the black piece in the picture above...then when you put them in there, they will stick like a champ. I've had no problems with them since doing that.

I like them a lot, I think they look excellent and much better than the stock vents. Although I spent about $100 on all five, I think it was a good investment, as they really catch the eye. Many people here have commented on how nice they look!"

-- I'm not sure if that means that they will still move or not so that you can redirect the air flow. I wouldn't want vents that are just stuck there, but that black center part might move indepentantly from the billet ring. Try contacting him for more info I suppose.

wow typical jackass responses to a question that only required a "no"

just paint them, you get the look and the best fit, since they are the real deal.

No ****...

I like them, but would just as soon paint them as posted above. Painting the whole vent is gay. But just the outside trim looks awesome.

The white letter tires were requested to be put on by my father. He had a formula 350 back in the day and had some M/T with white lettering. He thought it would look good and I didn't really care because it was temporary. I also suggest you stop with your mullet jokes about the tires considering you don't know a goddamn thing about me. The jackass comment was directed straight to you and no-one else, simply because I'm growing tired of you ripping people up over the most retarded things ever. I'm sure you could be a cool guy personally, but the impression I'm getting of you is that your a complete *******. Look at that guys mod list. Obviously he knows what a camaro vent looks like. I'm sure he was intending to ask if there were camaro vents made by them, or he was just flat out joking.

Maybe you can seriously chill out already and realize your comments aren't going to change the way people view their cars, especially when your a total tool about it.

Last thing: I don't want to be your enemy at all man. I'm just tired of seeing all the negativity on such a great forum.
