I'm going to have pre-cut gelcoat fiberglass covers (for the do-it-yourselfer) and will save a lot of work and cost compared to finished ones.

Also I have the absolute highest quality carbon fiber available ( right after my honeymoon 4 weeks from now the store opens on LS1 tech) for about $310 cut/finished.

Not cheap over-lay carbon fiber like RK sport that seperates in 8 months from the heat. These are actual full pieces ( not factory overlays) that will last for the lifetime of your car. ~Joshua

p.s. Just trying to give hints... I can't friggn' wait till this kicks off. Any color desired on the carbon fiber/kevlar.

well one problem is that those covers are gonna keep alot of heat over your engine but, anyways.....i saw a guy do them in a firebird myspace group, he used the corvette covers, shaved the corvette area down used some compound and sanded it all then polished it up and they looked really nice....i think it cost him 60 bucks total...he got them off of ebay and did all his own work...i think he was like 17 to

Keep a lot of heat over the engine??? Is that why GM has put them on it's flagship world class sportscar (Corvette) since at least 1993? You must know something GM engineers don't.
