e46 are one of the shortest projectors out there. Hella is making a 50mm projector at some point. They have some prelim. designs out there. I went with a bi-xenon e46. I didn't not use the bixenon feature, but they are slightly bigger then the reg. e46 projector.

I knew it!! I finally got to test them for real....
Funny story while I was trying to get the rotational alignment right. This happened earlier in the week.
There I was, working on it, trying to get it straight. I had it "pretty straight", but not perfect. I put on some of the glue/sealant, so all I had to to was get it straight and just leave it alone. Well, just as I had it almost perfect, damn wasps started attacking!
I had to retreat inside hoping it was "good enough". Turns out by the time they left, the glue dried and I wouldn't be able to move them anymore. The halogens I used to test it came out OK, but not perfect like I wanted. I won't know how straight they are for sure until I get the D2S bulbs in there.
I expect the beam pattern to slant slightly upwards on the right side. The left side looks perfect. It's not bad at all, but it bugs me. Oh well.
Vertical alignment is fine. Up/Down alignment is fine as well.
Damn wasps.

They are only spot welded in certain places though.
I suppose I can drill it out, move it and seal it up again....shouldn't be that hard using a small enough bit...

I'm guessing it'll look like this uncorrected from around 20ft. The dotted line is where it should be.

I think there's a nest nearby, but I haven't been able to find it. There were at least 3 or 4 wasps swarming around attacking the headlight.

That pic I posted is EXACTLY how it came out. LOL
Stupid wasps. I'll post pics of the cutoff later on tonight after work.
I did the color mod, so there is lots of blue at the cutoff.

Alright guys, after giving my first shot a go, I really think I can improve upon it. The beam isn't perfect and it bugs that crap out of me. Because of this, I am going to drill out the welds and try again. I'm thinking I can do this with removing the cover. Should be a few hour job. I'll start on this tomorrow.
