It came in pretty $hitty shape, I have to contact them about that...

It's SUPPOSED to go on with 3M tape... of course that's RETARDED.

I am going to epoxy some mounting points inside of the scoop and then bolt it on (drill holes in the hood)...

IMHO, don't do it. If a scoop isn't bolted on from the factory, then bolting a scoop on = rice, kinda.

I also think your car looks way too nice to just slap a scoop on it. Buy the hood you want, and you will be much happier in the end.

Well, I've got the scoop already so I'll finish it...

BUT I am already leaning towards ditching the hood, halos AND spoiler (which I haven't even put on yet, the ZR28) for an SS hood and spoiler and just finishing my ZL1 Berger like appearance...

Ditto that. Your car looks very nice and clean the way it is. Sometimes less is more. Don't do it.

Man I forgot about this thread

Well, UPDATE:

The scoop is still sitting in my apartment (anyone want to buy it?)...

The Halos are GONE in their place are nice Whistlers...

The ZR28 spoilier is GONE and I just dropped off my 98+ SS spoiler to get painted...

As far as the hood is concerned I am waiting to hear about the VFN group purchase (I want the smooth sunoco) and if that falls through I'll slap a SS hood with Manta kit on it...

... I was hoping your latest response to this thread would include new pics of your car.

Good to hear that you're getting it shaped up though! I look forward to seeing how she turns out!

Saturday at the latest !

Working on an interior mod right now to finish off my gauge theme and it's being the biggest PITA mod yet...

That's what I get for going store bought instead of making something
