Cleaned up the car today, trying to get it prepped for G10.

i've always like that nose better on the T/a's than the newer ones. reminds me of the nhra funny cars

I really like them alot too, just not a fan of the LT1 thats what drove me aways.

Looks good, but for some reason, on lt1 ta's the nose alwasy looks slightly different color than the rest of the body. Has anybody else noticed this?

it is also discolored on the LS1s in certain light, but not nearly bad as the LT1s - looks terrible

Thanks for the compliments guys. I had thought about a RA hood, but i'd rather have it beating the ground and just sleek and clean.

Its because the same batch of paint looks different when applied over different materials. When plastics are painted over, the paint dries into a lighter color, despite the use of primer. Its usually noticable on the lighter colors. Youll notice this with every make and model of car once you start looking for it.

Car looks great by the way!

Yes, the nose is plastic which is why it appears to be a different shade. Anyway, nice car, I like that color. You also have those wheel gaps filled in pretty good.
