Easiest way to remove moldings??

Its summer , so im about to remove my side moldings finally, just looking for the best way to remove them.....

After trying another method, the one that worked best for me was fishing line. I used a 20 or 25lb tess line I can't remember.

Don't forget to wear gloves...I found out the hard way...

i had a molding remover tool when i did mine it actually pulled most of the tape up with it which was nice

I have done it on a few cars, and i just get a firm grip on one end and pull it off, then use a cleaner to get the glue off

Dental floss/fishing line, heat gun, goo gone and possibly some gloves.

what they said about the fishing line, but you can use isopropel alcohol instead of goo be gone if you'd like.

yeah WEAR GLOVES!!! use a hair dryer to heat up the molding then just fish the line thru the back and pull up and down till your done. ALSO! while your down there just take off the TRANSAM decals too!

I just took a pair of Vice grips, and pinched the side molding and rolled it off, a heat gun while I did it would have been better, but live and learn. I tried the fishing line and it kept heating up and breaking.
