I used my new PC with a Swirl Remover kit, followed by ICE. The PC did a commendable job (but I'm obviously not finished yet.) I'd used ICE for a month or two and liked it some. I've never found it as hard to remove as some of the older waxes. This would be a great time to see how it looked over a newly buffed car.

I have a black Z28 and the ICE works pretty well. It isn't a three-foot polish, but it's a very good 10/15-foot polish. I'm not happy with its staying power though.

I have it, but i dont really like it. It says to apply it and let it "haze" for a few mins than buff it out. So i did the front half and then went back and started buffing it out, but it didnt want to come off very easy. It works alright for quick detailing if you rub it on then buff it off right away. Ill stick to the mothers wax i use for the car, but the ICE is nice for the grill and the rubber strips around the t-tops.

I tried it a few times since I've gotten it and I don't like it that much. Maybe it's because I've only used it on my car, which is pewter, and it just doesn't bring out much of a shine, which was being discussed in one of the other threads on ICE. I'm not crazy about how it goes on, maybe I just haven't gotten used to it yet. One of these days I'll try it on our red Avalache but until then, I probably won't bother with it on my car.

Love it, takes little time, and def looks good. I do think that spending the time with a good wax would hold up longer, but I dont care when its 100 degrees out!

Thank goodness. I just put it on a white car!!!! Talk about a color that would show up on!!!!!

I don't know if I like it otherwise though. It didn't leave the surface as slick as the Eagle 1 I was using.

How about Zanio????

Does it leave a good slick surface???

Btw, I also put ICE on my metallic gray Silverado. I've got to say... it really made the "metallic" glitter!!!!!!!!!!

How bout' a comparison?

Your ICE and my Meguiars... cept.. mine is after the polish and BEFORE the last application of Meguiars NXT.

ALL these photos are Meguiars polish before the last step was used. Polish only.

Where does the car end and the sky begin? Thats my neighbors house across the street.

Soaking wet? Nope...

Ill stick to Meguiars.

FWIW I did try the ICE.. and wasnt impressed. The durability of the product is enough to keep me from ever using it again.

You must be using too much or not letting it "haze" because I've used it before on my black car and it comes off easier than anything I've EVER seen.

When I use synthetic waxes (i.e. ICE or NXT) I just start at my hood and I wax my whole car, then I usually clean my wheels and apply my tire shine, and after all of that, then I buff out the wax. It comes off very easy and gives out an incredible shine.

I have to agree with BlackHawk on that one. It is a great product to finish off with, the night before the car show. The shind that it gives to your car is amazin, but it will only last about a week to 2 weeks.

I used it on my CE and the entire time I felt like I was using tire shine all over the car. I was not impressed at all. Matter of fact I consider it the worst product I have ever used on the car. I buy new polish/wax all the time to try them out. Ice and that nano wax will never be applied by me again.
I'll use meguires polish, color x and nxt.
