HELP...How to change plastic strip on the outside of the driver side window!!!

The plastic strip that goes in the door against the glass on the outside of the driver side is broke. It got caught on my clothes, and pulled up and cracked.

Has anyone in here changed that piece before? And if so how hard is it to do? The part will cost me like $50 from GM to replace, but GM garage and the body shops around here want $75 - $125 just to put this on. What a rip off!!!

I have the same problem (I think). Havn't had a chance to fix it yet but if you check out the thread below it might help.

Thanks man!! That was exactly what I was talking about. I may try to take mine off this weekend and see what I can do. I will let you know how it goes.
