Black/Red Pearl Paint?

you are refering to black paint with red pearlcent. i arrranged a repaint on my friends car and he was looking to doing this color you are talking about, but after a few testsprays it was decided to go with BlackCherry perl. it looks realy good

that looks awesome, but I don't really want the cherry/slight purplish color! do you have any pics of the other stuff you were talking about? And where to get it/paintcode?

I have a black car, can I have a shop wet sand it, apply the cherry and then clear it?
Black looking at night and cherry in the light seems awesome. Or maybe even a blue tint instead of red.

Dupont has a line of candy colors and one is called apple red over starry night. I think its exactly what you are looking for. You can check out a sample at any automotive paint store that carries dupont paint.

Candy colors are always visible in any light just has a whole lot more pop when viewed in direct light which gives it that rich "candy" look to it.
