I've tested it before and it would depend on the type of car, but it has never stopped a door from hitting mine...since the doors are curved, someone swinging open a door next to you is just gonna hit you higher up, no where near that molding strip...

looks good, i was thinking of debadging my formula badges to make it look even more v6ish and take off the side molding
