rear view mirror bulbs...

rear view mirror bulbs... was going to change the lights in my car to all red and got to the rear view mirror lights i could not get the bulbs out with my fingers and i tried to get some needle nose pliers in there but i felt like i was going to break it... does anyone have any ideas about it or is there a special tool that i just dont know about?

bulbs in mirror i got the clear lenses off but the bulb is far in there and cant get anything to get up in it to get it i tried needle nose pliers and even put electrical tape on it to soften the grip but still didnt work. were u talking about the lenses or the chrome looking piece that reflects the light cause i know if i could get that out i could change the bulbs.
I'm talking about the chrome mirror part looks something like,

I think you were on the right track with the electrical tape...try to wrap the bulb with the tape in a spiral to leave some excess at the end of the bulb. Flatten the excess tape to kinda make a tab that you can grab with your needle nose pliers, and pull the bulb out by the "electrical tape tab". If the tape slips off the bulb try some duct-tape.
