I've never used it, but I'd like to make this 02 Z06 look gooder.

It's still an excellent sealant. Very durable and (from all accounts) the new Z2Pro seems to have solved the "sterile plastic" look that I didn't care for with Z2. As long as there are no swirls in your paint, it should end up making it look very nice.

I'm old. I've been polishing, waxing, sealing, etc. for 30 years.

Z2 Pro is the best I've ever used. I can't imagine ever going back to anything else. Every time I use I am still amazed....

There are tons of great products out there. The key to a great finish is the proper prep work (ie. claying, polishing, etc.).

With that said, Zaino is *my* favorite sealant. Z5 Pro and Z2 Pro produce some very nice results.

You two guys make me want to ditch the rest of my Z5 and Z2 and buy some of the Z5 pro and Z2 pro stuff! I can't imagine my car looking better than it does now using the old stuff.

I saw a big difference between Z2 and Z2 Pro. Haven't tried Z5 Pro, but I've heard great things.....

Like ZaneO said, its all in the prepping of the paint. going thru the prep steps (claying, cleaning, buffing/polishing) is mandatory for a good finish. once u have the prep down, there are quite a lot of good sealants/waxes that will look great and hold up. ive been detailing for a while now, and i prefer either the Zaino process or the Meguiars 3-step process. they both look great and hold up well

Haven't used much else, but I also don't find any reason to

I was a long time Zanio freak but I have recently switched to Meguiers and am just as impressed with the finish.

Like it was said above it's all in the prep work. I washed my car, clay bar'd it, then used Meguiers' three step proccess(swirl remover, polish, wax), and then finished it off with a detail spray. Looks just like my Zanio and so far has lasted just as long. I have nothing but good things to say about Zanio but I can get Meguiers for a lot cheaper and if I'm low and I run to the store to pick more up.

I still use Zanio's "Leather in a Bottle" because the smell is just so good.

I got screwed by using Zaino - did all my prep work (2 days), all layers (3 days for a good cure) then a contest came up for a free paint job.

Even letting the car 'soak' with Tide soapy water on it, the Zaino *still* wouldn't come off enough to make it look dull again!!!!!!!

If I'd just used NXT or Meguires it wouldn't have been as much as a problem getting it to look dull (I've used those and M3 products so I know which hold up best).

Now I can only hope the over lighting will show how badly the TA needs a paint job...Zaino is that good. Still.

both meguiers and zaino give great results, but for me zaino held its luster quite a bit longer than the meguiers.
