Applying decals?
Applying decals? I had my ASCD hood painted two weeks ago. I waited a little for the paint to cure. Is there any special prep I need to do to apply the ram air decals? I've been reading about rubbing alcohol and different methods. Will a simple wash, dry then apply work for me? Not like I mind dropping a little more coin on decals if something screws up, I'd just rather it work out the first time. Thanks......
The past two responses are good.
First use a brand new claybar (new to make sure it doesn't have any oils or things that will scrape the paint). After that, wash the area normally and dry it. Then use rubbing alcohol to prep the area and you're ready to go.
