Nice ride dude! Love the Simmons, very uncommon wheel anymore, nice touch! Too bad you had to hack up the underside of the SS hood for the Vortech, unless you figured something out, did you? Job well done I must say! Tips are a little big though

Thanks man, it seems like everybody is running the same wheel, I like being different. there's no getting around not cutting the hood. I suppose you might be able to lower the engine down an inch or so but I still think you would need to clearance the hood.

I'm gonna get the underside of the hood painted and blended in so its not so noticeable and virtually unrecognizable unless you are looking for it.

LOVE the overall car, love that it's "blown", but I *hate* the way Vortech 'chargers totally take over the engine bay.

**** poor engineering. (packaging)

Very kewl SS to be sure.

I've only seen 2 other cars on this board post pics with them. I know of one guy locally that has them in the 17" versions. When I saw pics of them in 18's I was pissed since I wanted them bad a long time ago, oh well.

As for the cutting of the hood, that is the only thing that pisses me off about Vortech, they would have sold a lot more kits if it weren't for that Most SS owners just get an aftermarket hood to chop up and save the original.

Nice **** though, real clean!!

I hear ya, that's the sacrifice you gotta make. I'm sure they could have positioned the aftercooler in the bumper like a front mount and located the head unit a little lower out of the way.

It can be done.

I've been meaning to contact you about some stuff I want to get chromed or if you have stuff already chromed. do you have a catalog?

again thanks for all your comments, I've put a lot of hard work in at my job, time, and money into this car but the cool comments makes it all worth it and I ain't done yet!!

I like the "in your face" design. You open the hood and it says "I'm supercharged
bitch!"

This next Friday is my last day of work at my day job before I leave on my wedding/vacation. I will be out of town till the 24th.

My web designer has been bugging me for more content/pictures. I just don't have time for everything with this wedding in front of me. If there are some specific quotes you want feel free to pm me and I'll see what available.

Thanks for the interest. ~Joshua

BMR springs (1" drop) with Hal 12 ways. The fronts are adjustable for ride height.

It last put down 526 rear wheel but the tune straight up sucks, it needs to be tuned RIGHT with someone who knows how to tune. I also need a boost a pump, I'm dropping fuel pressure at the upper rpms.
