I wish I could have done the full power tour. I met so many cool people with all kinds of hot rods. There was so many friggin bad *** rides, it was great. Plus they were giving away a lot of free **** too. I saw the 09 Camaro Concept in person, man can't wait to throw down a deposit.
I got to talking with the lead designer and another guy that does the chassis/suspension. We hammered the dude with questions. They kept saying that its not confirmed yet for production but we were like ya ok so umm can that IRS withstand a 6K rpm dump and the dude said yea. We told them that they need to overengineer the drivetrain or at least give us an option to go for a 12 bolt, he said that it would all be taken care of. I don't want to spread any rumors on the net cause the poor guy wanted to tell us things but he couldn't. He did speak in a way to let us know what's going on , so we did the talking and he just kinda nodded and gave us facial expressions, lol.
lets just say the future is looking very bright for us that want to own this new Camaro.
The cars that Year One had out there were JUST PLAIN SICK!
I HIGHLY recommend ya'll do the Power Tour next year. They are going west from Englishtown I think to Chicago.
Think i'll try to do it next year, I'd like to do some more things (like beef up the entire drivetrain, add nitrous and go with a bigger blower along with a lot more underhood chrome stuff.
