Default side molding ?

u can see what type of car i have, my ? is whats under the side molding of my car...and can it be taken off? how to?

to take it off you just need a hot day or a blowdryer and go easily pulling it off.

get the glue underneath off, and if your paint hasnt faded or resprayed then everything should match up fine.

if your cars been wrecked or the paint faded then it might not match the paint everywhere else.

hmm and this is the little mold strip running down the car? becuase it seems to be on there pretty hard, and i dont want there to be some white line running down my car if i took it off

so just take a blowdryer to it and gently pry off with your hand? i have a black z28, door paint usually doesnt fade much but mine might be a respray, how can you tell?

The hardest part is getting all the glue residue off. Try using goo-gone or some other dissolvent to help with that

Oh, and it looks much better without it.

especially considering my dad knocked a chunk of paint of the driver side moulding when he opened the door to a jack stand...

here is how mine turned out. I removed the moldings, and the trans am lettering. Then applied the trans am straight to the door.

i think im just gonna wait until i get my ss hood and spoiler then shave the antenna, pull of moulding a emblems and respray whole damn car.

I took mine off and can't seem to get the outline off of the car. I've tried Goo Gone and another sticker remove substance. Any ideas on what to try next?
