car shows: how do you stop your hood half way? I have seen people who have shocks that only allow the hood to stop half way. How do you do that? I have a black car so I don't want people to see the small imperfections I have and want to show off my hood scoop more.

its just a balancing act, theres a point halfway between up and down that the shocks arent strong enough to lift, but are too strong to allow the hood to drop back down. go spend five minutes dicking with your hood, and you will find the sweet spot.
