its just a few more bucks than any other wax, and u use a very small amount to wax your car. it only takes about 15-20 minutes to do the whole car. i've used this stuff before and love it. if you have a good finish on your car, no swirls and it's not too contaminated this stuff is even better. overall i think it's a great product. highly recomended

And is that even true? I've seen it said before, but no pictures or links or evidence to back it up. I'm pretty sure it would be a widely known thing around here.

this is from the meguiars website. and we all love meguiars. it's gold.
18. Are products that contain silicone bad for my car's finish?
No. In fact, automotive paints worldwide contain silicone as an ingredient to help the paint to spray and flow more smoothly.
There are many kinds of silicones available for use in car care products, the one thing all silicones have in common is they are completely inert. This means they do not react in either a negative or a positive manner with any substance they come into contact with, including your car's paint.
For example: The use of some types of silicone in a formula acts to make the product easier to both spread and wipe-off, thus reducing the effort required to apply and remove the product, which then helps to reduce the potential for application or wipe-off inflicted scratches. That’s a benefit to you.

I know there was a thread not too long about someone that used this in here. On a black car it looked amazing!
But something that was specifically pointed out in that thread, is that ICE is a POLISH and NOT a WAX!
As for me, if there is any risk at all of it turning my clear to yellow, then screw that! Its NOT a risk Im willing to take with my car.
