As you may know, the devil is in the details.

Cool that you noticed the effort.

Hopefully people will think the same way when it's time to order/pay.

That is an excellent point. How many threads have we seen in the "for sale" section where people say "It's mine" or "I want it" and 3 days later the parts are still for sale. It's not fair.

New sellers and sponsors think by the reaction here they are going to get tons of business and when it actually comes time a lot of folks are all talk. Not just that but a lot of folks here have no idea what it takes to run a business and the stress that goes along with that. Buyers can be impatient and intollerent. If they get told a product will ship today and it doesn't they start a flame thread. Sometimes sponsors or sellers get overwhelmed and just can't keep up. Does it mean they are not good, honest people trying to do right by everyone? Hell no but from what I have seen a lot of people here have no patience or tollerance and that is what bothers me for the new guy with some great skills and ideas.

Just keep in mind that you will never please everyone. Some people there is no pleasing no matter how hard you try. Also be prepared for lots of folks saying "I'm buying that" and not following through. I think you have some great skills and ideas and I think you'll make a go of your new business but it will probably be a rough few months after the initial rush the first couple of months. Oh and I'm sure others have told you but you need to have your own LLC or scorp. That way if the business does not work out as expected your personal assets are protected. I cannot stress that point enough. Spend the money and make sure you're protected.

Enjoy your upcoming nuptuals and honeymoon!

I totally agree. You can't be all things to all people. Josh, you are an excellent polisher and I can tell from our talks a real go getter, but I am a bit worried your trying to offer too much and be everything to eveyone. It's always better to do one or two things REALLY well than to spread yourself too thin and get overwhelmed. I know you are strong headed and want to do this your way, but those of us who have done it many times know you should start slow, get your feet wet and build from there. We ALL want to see you do well. As you know I've been waiting to give you some money for a while now, so this is written in best regards!!

I recently polished my first throttle body and have a new level of respect for the people who do these things, and that is some piece of work that Josh has there. Awsome job.

Thanks guys. I have a real desire to make this a worthwhile store, but I may have to change course based on initial (and 4 months down the road) responses.

This store isn't going to make me rich, I just want everyone to have access to good stuff and be able to pay my bills. The feeling of completing a goal is also a big reward.

Thanks again guys, this store truly belongs to everyone here. ~Joshua

LOL, I like the idea of your business. Awesome products that are new and or better. I hope it works out just like you want it to. Ever think you might get slammed with customers when you open up business? Are you going to have a website that shows and or tells about all the products and things you sell?

HotWhipT/A- Yep, website with pictures. You can see several shots of the part you're interested in.

I probaby will have an intitial rush that will taper to a trickle after the first couple months, but I'll keep coming out with stuff that'll continue to draw attention and customers hopefully. ~Joshua
