I'm a big fan of roll-up windows (don't ask me why) and was just wondering if anyone has ever done this swap and how easy it was. Also, any idea how much weight it would save if any? Lastly, I'd like to keep my power locks w/remote keyless. Is that possible?

I have roll-up windows in my car. Yes, it's PITA to roll down the passenger window, and that's the only thing I miss about power windows.

Converting to manual seats would be a piece of cake. Just hide the unplugged wiring and bolt in the manual seat and you're finished.

I have manual seats and the driver side sits up higher than camaros with power seats. That is my only beef with the manual seat.

the only thing i hate is when i let chicks drive my car and my seat is all fucked up with taht 6 way adjustable power seat, you can never get it back the way it was..

Roll downs suck when someone pulls up on your passanger side and wants to conversate. But atleast you dont have to worry about a motor going out and not being able to get the windows back up. I believe cars should come with both auto/ and manual in case your motor were to go out.

On the seat. Find a salvage yard and see if they have any you could yank. This would probally be the cheapest route.
