Default Converting '02 WS6 Tan interior to Ebony?

I'm looking to buy a nice low-mileage '02 M6 WS6

I've found one in NBM which is great!
Bad thing is it has teh tan interior which I HATE!!!

Anyone have pics of the tan interior so I can get a good look at what has to be changed?
Also, anyone know where I can get everything to swap it to Ebony (or whatever matches the color on the dash)???

Thanks!

I've wanted to do the same thing.... but I've found it's expensive new, and hard to find all the parts in good used condition unless you get lucky and find someone parting out a car. You'll need:
-carpet
-headliner
-seats
-seatbelts
-doorpanels
-all interior plastic from doors back, plus piece that runs along door sill
-hatch plastic
-ttop shades (if you're really ****!)

You can paint all of your tan peices with Fusion by Krylon, its a plastic paint, works great and holds up for ever. Seat belts/seats/carpet/headliner/sunvisors is all you really need. You can have your existing door panals re done with a new leather insert of your choice, Im doing white... There is NO reason to live with a gay tan int is my moto.

I'd like to see some results people have gotten from painting their interior plastics. I've known people that tried dying plastic interior parts back in the day and it didn't look too hot.

Nope. Correct me if I am wrong but NBM is Navy Blue Metallic? That is the color I have and let me tell you, there is a shitload of tan in there. I am currently trying to devise a plan of whether I want to paint it or redo it. I will get you some pics in a couple minutes.

question: why do you hate the taupe (tan) interior so much? you don't see it as often as the ebony or graphite interiors and it really is a nice touch to NBM, imho. i have it on my black t/a and wouldn't trade it for the world.

I LOVE the tan with NBM. It's one of my favorite color combos. I almost traded my car for a leftover 02 Vert with a tan top and interior. I'm so sick of black/dark interiors. EVERY freaking car out there anymore has black/charcoal/ebony/whatever you want to call it blah color. At least my truck has the pewter interior in it.

I will agree that Tan looks decent on a nbm car. If my tan int was in 100% perfect condition, I probably wouldn't mess with it. But White on Tan is GAY, one thing that I cant STAND about my car.

Too bad your way out there. I'm in Texas and have an NBM Formula with Ebony leather that I would trade out for tan. I like the tan on NBM as well. The only problem with my interior is the door panels have the famous cracks at the top.

I like the tan as well. I have a red car and I think it looks pretty sharp.

Pewter Metallic w/taupe interior here. Most people haven't seen that combo (at least from what I'm told).
