noobie question - gray styrofoam behind grille?

how did u attach the mesh? staples like LS1_2NV did?

at the hardware store there was a precut slab of gutter mesh that was almost the exact size of the grill. ill try to use this tomorrow to fit them in the holes

yeah ill get some clips or something, i dont have a staple gun
i did get a slab of mesh that was precut and it was the exact size of the stock grill... just to see if i could do it, i shaped the mesh into the shape of the grill and popped it in front where the grill used to be (u know that rice look that i'm talkin about) its a home made billet grill but out of gutter mesh, haha.
but it was on there for as long as it took to take a pic now i just need to cut that up and cover up the styrofoam

I was going to sell my stock plastic grill on ebay until I read this thread. I looked at the sucker a little closer and realized that the plastic threads on the mounting tabs are all stripped out and fubar. Typical GM design, the correct way to remove something simple takes hours.
