claybar ? Im going to claybar and wax my car for the first time this weekend, and my question is how wet does the car have to be and how much force do i us. I read on here not to dry my car after i was it. true or not. Then do i was the car after i clay it. Im nervous and i dont want to mess up the paint any more than it already is.
You won't mess up the paint. Use a spray wax to lubricate while rubbing the claybar - should come in the kit. If you did buy a kit, just follow the directions and you should be fine. You will be able to feel it pulling the dirt out! Works really well

I wash the car, dont dry it and then use then clay bar with the detail spray, you need the car to be wet or the clay will just stick to the car.... you dont need to use alot of force. Then after Im done I wash the car again, then poilsh and wax.
I was going to ask that! I also have never used a clay bar, so this is very handy info, thanks!
Just a couple of quick question, back and forth, or round and round?
Also how many times should a clay bar be used?
I guess its best to start at the top and work down(less contaminants?).
