SS hoodscoop question
fit on a stock camaro hood?
is it the same as the one on the hood, or is it longer?
If not, do they make the new ss hoos scoops, or can you only buy the hood??
Thanks
edit* now that i look at it, it looks a bit different

I dont know what i would rather do though, get a new hood, or get the scoop, and have to get the hood repainted.... I gess getting a new hood will consist of getting it painted too

The scoop was $200 and then the body shop was going to charge $200 to paint and mold it on (so it would be smooth) which was still a great deal, for $400 I would have a $1200 hood (that would still have to be painted) for 1/3 the price:

The scoop is made to just mount to the factory hood though, so I also thought about just spraying the scoop in a satin black (like the Berger panel) and leaving the hood blue...
Kind of like this:
Then before I finished any of this I decided to go with a Sunoco hood...

Long story short... anyone want to buy a scoop
