Welcome to the club! Seat hood mod FTW! Just save up and get a WS6 hood.

You can make your own Ram Air hood with a sawzall. It's already contoured perfectly around the airbox!!

Definetly don't go through your insurance. Just get a used hood for around 50 - 100 dollars and see if you can get the bumper repainted. If necessary do the prep yourself to save cost. It's not that hard to sand it down and it will save you some money.

maaco charges about $215 to paint a hood without the prep work(maybe SOM costs more than pewter though) and about $320 to paint the hood, and blend it with the fenders.

Once again the bumper is fine... If you pull it off and take it to get painted the bumper is about $275...

That's pointless since you need to paint a hood as well though...

I say buy a AFTERMARKET hood (WS6 or Raptor style) then get that and your bumper painted...

Should be looking at under $1000 for everything... Break out the credit card if you have to but don't waste even $50 on a stock hood (if you don't absolutely have to)...

No offense, $50 is a great price but why waste the money if you're going to get a hood later anyways... hell borrow the money if you have to.
