Default Anyone done this antenna yet?

its off a gm car/truck with factory Integrated Navigation Radio/XM radio antenna? Im thinking about putting this on my car what ya think?

cut your factory one in half and use the rubber end off of a RC car control antenna on the end of it. it cost me a couple of bucks if you want one i can go buy you some and send them..let me know

How much off was it put it in a vice and use a dril and a tap..

You could tap it...you need a 1.0 mm tap....or

look for a corvette FRC or z06 shorty antena, they are 8" compared to 24(i think) stock inches. i got one for my car and it looks stock but much shorter. the only problem is if you live in a rural area away from a radio station it kills reception. but if you live inside a big city you will be fine.
