Default Help with gauge needles? removal

I need to know what i need to do to remove my speedometer needle. And how to install it correctly so that my speedo is correct. B/c who ever did the white face gauges before i bought it , i believe did it incorrectly b/c the speedo is 12 mph off. 40 on the speedo = is actually 52 real speed. So any tips would be help full. Please if you read this and know what to do respond. Thank You

my kit came with a tool, but i was able to get them off with my fingers. if you use something to pry them up make sure you put a rag under it so you dont scratch your overlay. good luck

the little tube thing on the bottom of the needles needs to go directly to the "line" that it connects to on the speedometer. This is where it gets nasty. You have to line it up to how it previously was. The toughest needle to align is the one that tells you how fast youre going. You'll need to have someone ride along with you to check that your car is going exactly as fast as it says on the speedo. You don't want to actually go 40mph when your speedo only says 30.
