I would love to have one but its like cmon when do you actually have the oppurtonity or the ***** to go top speed. Too expensive too....BlaSSt how fast have you gone ?
I've never had enough room to safely do more than 140mph and I was loosing my confidence at that point. With all the safety gear and precautions I would feel better about topping out my car.....maybe 170!!!!!!

I want them cause Im tired of topping out my 5th gear and not knowing exactly how fast Im going b/c my speedo only goes to 155mph. So they actually do come in handy for some people.
But if you go through Granatelli I thought you have to buy the speedo through one of their vendors to buy it (unless you pay full retail from their site) and I never heard of you having to send you cluster in. I wanna buy it through a vendor and see if they make you send the cluster, But I wont.

Yeah we were the ones who always held the GP on the clusters and the only ones who sell more of these. They do look awesome and it's completely personal preference if you want to pay the money for them.

Yeah, I might never go 200.. but I think the speedo should be above top speed, pretty sure our cars stock can do 160+. and I do hate seeing cars that top out at 120 having 160, and mine haing 150.
thats sucks that those gauges are the only options.. I really want some checkered ones.. or something different.

stock trans am should do 168mph and redline 5th gear, then with stock 3.42s out back (assuming you have a 6spd) and 6th gear is just overdrive so unless you have a good power adder or good mods then you arent going to go anywhere in 6th gear.

has anyone looked on speedhut.com..... i know they dont read 200 mph but you can custom make your gauges with checked flags or bowties with your name and ****... they have diffrent color led backlight... and base color... bad thing is they have to have 20 people interested and signed up for 97-02 template before they make them... i think i was #12 so if theres 8 more people sign up ill have my gauges...i dont know if there for v6 or z but heres the link http://www.speedhut.com/15orders_el_...mber=12&bhcp=1

Took a look at the site looks great.. I really wish i could see what my cluster looks like with the options picked but o well. And if i really pick a white face with black numbers is it going to light up blue. If someone could help me out with those i will place my order asap.
