Manta painted…FINALLY! - Whistler almost done. Okay… it was a really long wait but, the painting is finally done. I guess when you decide to deal on the side for cash, you have to be patient. But, it was definitely worth the wait. The Black w/ Silver pinstripe looks so kick-*** on the NBM that I can't stop staring at it. I even had the third brake light tinted to blend into the deck stripe. Although I'm sure somebody on here will have some negative comments, I don't care because I absolutely love it. I'm still working on my Whistler mod. I have already painted the housings but, I'm still working on the lenses. I went with a matte gray to match the spokes on my wheels. There's a couple of pics at the bottom so you can see the matte gray but, I'll post pics of them when I'm done. In the meantime, here is the new paint.

Looks like mine.....looks good 
9 out of 10 ppl wont even notice blk on nbm...Silver is a nice touch.I have ppl ask n me did i just put that on my hood when its been on there for over 2 yrs. But the paint does look better vs. a decal...

anybody who says that looks bad needs to be slapped. As for the lights, I guess you are painting the ridges matte silver then the outside flat parts black? Im not sure how that would turn out but i would def. like to see.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive remarks. It means a lot coming from other Camaro guys. As far as the Whistler mod, (texasreb18) there won't be any Black on them. Just the matte gray. I think with the gray against the "chrome" of the reflectors, it will set off nicely against my wheels and kinda pull that scheme to the front of the car and tie it all together. That will pretty much do it for my appearance mods. I did get a few other small items that you may not have noticed, as well as a few that aren't in the pics. I added the "Hurst Equipped" emblem to the filler panel. I also got a new shift ****. It's a polished Hurst ball with the 6-speed pattern engraved on top and Tremec logos on the side (sorry, no pic of that yet). I added an Afterthoughts Auto Camaro SS ratings decal to my Lingenfelter lid (no pic of that either). And, I've got the SS White gauge overlays and SS aluminum pedals on the way. Oh, and one other subtle change. See if you can figure it out from these pics. I'll give you a hint: compare it with the sig pic.

Yep, it's the center caps (I lowered it last year Scotty w/ Koni and DMS). It took for freakin' ever to get these caps because they didn't have them listed on the American Racing website. The wheels came with those plastic caps you see im my sig pic. The new ones are so much nicer: polished aluminum, lower profile, engraved American Racing 200S logo. It only took an act of congress to get them. I waged an email and phone call campaign on American Racing for about six months and finally got some results. I talked to this girl (can't remember her name right now) at A.R. and told her what I had been looking for for so long and within a week she had listed the caps on the website so I could order them. How cool is that?

I love your car, absolutely gorgeous. One suggestion if I may, you dont have to do this at all, but maybe on the tail panel some chrome or other color letters in the camaro spot to help bring it out a bit. Regardless if you do that or not, your car looks amazing.

To tell you the truth, i would take off that hurst emblem, the chevy bowtie next to the SS, and add a black camaro fill in. I like how the black/silver?white matches the factory SS emblem. I also see alot of people order the lt1 taillights just to get rid of that orange that doesn't match anything else on the car. Manta looks great.
