I like it. I don't care for the rivets not because I think they look bad but just cause I don't want to have to clean around them! I think they actually look good on your car. Congrats on your new purchase!
Damn that thing is smokin. Anymore black on it and it would vanish in the night though. You ever think about putting some ZO6 grilles up front? The silver might accent it jusat right. Nice car.

Same thing I plan to get in '07, black C5 M6. It will have chrome wheels instead though, I just don't like black wheels on anything

the rims look awesome. i do like the rivets .... on your car ! like mike02z above - i wouldn't want to clean them!!! that's a sweet vette. nothing nicer than a black car when it's polished.

Maybe you can't tell by the dark pics, but they are already on. I love the way they look.
Oh my god, you are not kidding. I did not consider that until last night (first time I washed the wheels). Drying them was the biggest pain in the ***, water kept running out of the rivet holes. I was like gaaaaaaah why didn't I think of this before!!

Next time you wash it, after you dried off the paint, take it for a spin around the block to get the water out of those rivet holes. Normally I don't like rivets on wheels but, I think it adds visual interest in a "Black-on-Black" situation. As far as the black outs go, they're fine. I think they only work on a black car, imo. I had them on my black '93 and loved them. After I had two sets stolen, I went with a "carbon fiber" set (RK Sport) which gave it a smoked look. You could just barley see the red lens peeking through. I actually like them better. Here's a pic:
And, I just recently had stripes painted on my SS and had the 3rd brake light tinted. Of course, they just mixed a little black in with the clear for that. But, that's probably the same as the Nightshades. Anyway, it turned out really nice. Here's that pic:
